  • UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor/Psychotherapist
  • BA(Hons)Integrative-Relational Counselling
  • Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling (www.kingston-college.ac.uk)
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (www.metanoia.ac.uk)

    I was trained as an Integrative Therapist which means that I am able to combine more than one approach as and when it would be most helpful for the client.

    Experience

    As well as my Practice in central Dorking, I also work part-time as a counsellor at a GP surgery and facilitate teaching on an Intermediate Counselling Skills Certificate course within higher education. I have worked at several counselling services and organisations, both private and within the NHS.


    I receive referrals from GPs (NHS Online), Employee Assisted Programmes as well as individuals.


    Membership of Professional Associations

    I am bound by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice from the BACP (www.bacp.co.uk) and as such require ongoing supervision and continual professional development.

    Location

    My counselling practice is based in Dorking, less than half a mile from Dorking town centre and a 5 minute walk from Dorking main rail station.
